Blonde Brownies with Chocolate Chips

 

2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped nuts
2 eggs
2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup butter - melted and cooled
6 oz package of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, nuts in a bowl and set aside. In separate bowl, mix butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Slowly add in the dry mixture, mixing well with each addition.  Pour batter into a lightly greased, 13x9x2 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
